Make a Difference Monday

Welcome to another Make a Difference Monday! Here are your three ideas to make a difference in the world around you.
1. Send a Valentine to an elderly or lonely person. It will bring a smile to their face knowing that someone is thinking of them.
2. Join the Brown Paper Bag Project organized by Jo Anna of the Receiving project. Here's a quick summary from her site about the project. Visit the site to sign up and learn more details. Btw, Naomi shared the Paper Bag project on her blog post last week. If you'd like to read what her and her daughter did with the project go here.
"This is a project designed to inspire you to be of service in fun and creative ways. You sign up and I will mail you a randomly chosen paper bag. In the bag may be money (bills or change), a gift card, a note card, a lotto ticket, stickers, and more. You are to use the contents of the bag in an act of service. You then document what you did (you can write it, do a video, write a song, take a picture, do an interpretive dance), and I will share it on the blog. You can refill the bag and pass it on for someone else to use. The bag has a sticker on it with all of the instructions!"
I signed up last week. I can't wait to see what is in the bag & come up with a fun idea to share it with the community.
3. Buy a copy of your favorite inspirational book and share it with a friend.
If you would like to get more involved with "Make a difference Monday" by suggesting an idea for me to include in the weekly post, send me an email at [email protected] with your idea. If I include your idea in an upcoming "Make a difference Monday", I will include a link your blog or website.
I hope these ideas make a difference for you this week!
