Make A Difference Monday

Happy Monday! We've had days and days of rain here. Today the sun is supposed to shine...looking forward to that! Here are this weeks three easy ideas to make a difference in the world around you.
1. Click for a Cause. Did you know that even if you do not personally have any money to donate, you can still contribute financially to a cause you are passionate about? For some causes, all you have to do is click on their website and they will receive funds. Here is a site where you can find many ways to click for a cause: One Click at a Time
2. Promote tranquility in your home. Everyone benefits from a peaceful and calm home. Here are two articles with great ideas on how to make your home a tranquil place: 7 Rules for a Peaceful Home with young children and How to make your home a soothing sanctuary and Six ways to create a more peaceful home
3. Help others when you are out shopping. Keep your eyes open for someone who may need help reaching something on a higher shelf or bending down to get something on a lower shelf. You may be surprised once you really open your eyes while you are out shopping how many people you can help. Once when my daughter was little and still in the temper tantrum stage a kind lady helped me get my shopping cart back out to my car. It really did make a difference in my day.
If you would like to get more involved with "Make a difference Monday" by suggesting an idea for me to include in the weekly post, send me an email at [email protected] with your idea. If I include your idea in an upcoming "Make a difference Monday", I will include a link your blog or website.
Leave me a comment to let me know if you do any of the ideas this week & how it turned out. I would love to hear how these ideas made a difference in the world around us!

I always look out for the people in the scooters in the grocery store, so much work for them to reach something up higher.
That's a nice idea Sarah.
Stacie, those articles you linked to are awesome. I really enjoyed them. Thanks!
